My passion for photography started back in the old days when I could afford my first Canon F1 camera. I was educated as a marine biologist at the University of Amsterdam and still love the undersea world. I started diving at 21 years old and became a CMAS certified diver in The Netherlands in 1982. I used my diving skills combined with my first steps as an underwater photographer to fulfill my graduation research in the Red Sea on Fire Corals (Millepora).
Currently I am an experienced PADI Divemaster and Digital Underwater Photography Instructor. I dive and give courses in the Netherlands and try to make do as much dive traveling in holidays.
I hope you will enjoy the photography and information on this site and wish you happy diving!
